Cleared episode 2 and man that second phase is funny but also kinda cruel with how RMG (Random Mine Generation) can ruin your day and no checkpoint between Ten and Nine Plus Ten. I hope the boss of Episode 3 is whatever boat's been laying mines all over the ocean so we can beat the crap out of it and its captain with the power of, uh... marking safe tiles.
imagine the lore of the game is that the numbers that you fight (currently 9 and 10 so far) just get smited by some unknown force we probably have to fight later when you finish their boss board
Great game but could use a few fixes here and there. The color palette is way oversaturated at times and the one tile holes in 2-4 are a little unclear. (maybe you could add those sea traffic cone thingies to mark the holes?)

Amazing game! one pretty noticeable bug i've noticed though is that closing out of the game and reopening it deletes any progress you had beforehand (both in story mode and the unlocked items in freeplay), so unless it's an intentional feature i'd like for it to get fixed, thanks (i'm playing on the macOS version of 2.0 if that helps)
That is literally Classic Minesweeper, there will be 50/50s. I guess you could argue the map s on episode 2 makes some almost guaranteed 50/50s but still.
Yeah, I have no issues with 50/50's because of the Sonar, but in Master Mode I would prefer for them to be removed (or atleast there being an option of doing so), so that beating Expert wouldn't turn into a millions to one chance of beating it.
heyo! i think i've got something of a bug. I've got this on both PC and android but i'm only noticing the issue on android. sometimes on stage 3 of beginning sweeper, you can flag all the mines and it goes to -1, then the stage is no longer beatable. not sure if any other area of the game does this but it's the easiest way to reproduce it.
i could be! there were times where i'd reveal all tiles by the time i lost and all the mines were flagged(i really should have had the foresight to screenshot). i haven't been able to reproduce it yet but i'll come back if i do
alright so i was able to get it to happen again. with no remaining tiles anywhere else, it happened near that cluster of 3 on top. all of the flags were revealed to be bombs. i checked with my last 2 chances and a sonar.
Hey, azlech. I think you actually do have one more flag than there are mines left on the grid here. The flagged tile directly above the red tile in your image is where there is NOT a mine. Remember, tiles without numbers means there are 0 mines around those tiles. I hope this helps you on your minesweeping journey.
"reset game" in freeplay after a victory doesn't seem to actually refresh the clear time used in the center of the screen. (note the discrepancy between top right and middle of my screen
hard to tell singleton "walls" apart from unopened cells in some episode 2 levels
the classic (both light & dark) theme's bg and actual empty spaces are hard to tell apart (definitely needs to be fixed before those oddball grid shapes become a thing in free play)
Absolutely amazing! I love the visuals music and original mechanics, they both really add to this being minesweeper with a fresh coat of paint, and I really like how costumizeable you can make your own runs in those 3 areas. The adventure mode is really fun even if quite challenging by the end, tho it makes things more satisfying to win.
My only real complain I would give (as of now at least) is that the most recent boss' song doesn't change of volume regardless of anything you put on the settings.
you can get infinite minecoins by enabling one of the bosses with 0 mines active and just winning with master mode on, max board size, both 9 and 10 on at expert, with only 9 sec, you get like 350 minecoins per cycle although it doesn't really matter because difficulty 1 "the big one" gives more coins for a similar amount of effort
yo! pretty neat game you got over there, love the music and visuals; i like how the guy with cool hat progressively becomes more... negative? (dunno how to describe it really) until he eventually becomes insane and then snaps back into his original form opon seeing the boss.
a nitpick i have is that the game starts up in such a way that the bottom part of the game is hidden by the taskbar so i'd have to resize the tab which is a bit annoying.
anyways i got one question before i end the comment, how are boards generated? i seen too many 7s and 8s in a short timeframe for it to feel like it isn't just generated randomly or whatever.
Hello, NooblasNooblas. Thank you for checking out the game and giving me feedback. Sorry about the annoying window size issues. In the next update I want to try adding more setting options where you can adjust window size among other things.
And to answer your question, I programmed the game so that boards are randomly generated. However, I also programmed the game so that in adventure mode, the number level you are on will always have that number appear on the board. So a 7 will appear on level 7 and an 8 on level 8. That's probably why it feels like you're seeing so many of them.
i have 2 questions 1. is there an S rank or any rank above A in adventure mode? nvm i got S rank, but i guess the new question is if there's anything above S rank 2. will there be a way to play the boss fight in free play?
1. There might be a rank above S. But you'll have to be a perfect and pretty fast minesweeper player if you want to achieve it.
2. There may be a way to fight the boss in free play in the future. (But for now, there is a super-secret keyboard shortcut that you can input on the map screen to get to the boss right away. Just press and hold a certain key on your keyboard for a certain number of seconds.)
This game is really amazing and the boss is truly creative and stressing! I have yet to encouter any bug, but i have 2 suggestions: How about a mobile port (for example like google handled minesweeper with double tap to open and one tap to show options to put the flag) and (if they aren't in the game yet or i haven't found them) more boss fights with your Music from YouTube (10 and 11)
Also i had to donate to support such an amazing composer
Thank you so much for your generosity! I did have the idea to make a mobile version of the game so maybe I'll try and do that at some point. And we'll see if I add more bosses. It's only 9 right now, but if I come up with any more good ideas for bosses, that may change.

when the very tried face looks to his/her (I'm assuming male) left, he/she gets squished and looks blurry

try playing free play (or the big one if you're feeling crazy) to train up a bit (or just use the sonar, not during THEM though)

ok so i beat 9 and it was the most anxiety i've ever had (even on beginner sweeper)

its clear that i suck at this game (took 2 damage in open ocean and accidentally clicked the area around 9 twice so this was continueless)
